Attach the waist-belt between two bars (diameter 20 mm). Apply a force increasing gradually to 1+0,1kN over a period 1+/-0,25min. (obr. 1)
Mark the strap at the outer edge of the buckle (obr.1). Than increase the force gradually to 10 +0,1kN over a period 2-/+0,25 min. (obr. 2)
Hold this load for 3+/-0,25min. After release mark the strap again at the outer edge of the buckle (obr. 3).
Unfasten the buckle and measure the distance between the two marks (obr.4). Maximum distance allowed is 20 mm.

Test dummy is in head-up position.
Apply a force increasing gradually to 15+0,3 kN over a period 2+/-0,25 min.
Hold this load for 1+/-0,25 min and than release the tension completely over a maximum 1 min.
Reapply the force and increase gradually to 15+0,3 kN and hold it for 3+/-0,25 min.
